Browns RestaurantAs a regular visitor to Leeds I have been to Browns a couple of times for drinks and business meals and always really enjoyed myself.

Last night I went with Bill for a romantic meal and we were not disappointed.

The staff were attentive & courteous and made us feel welcome from the minute we entered the restaurant, a great lesson others could learn from Browns

The atmosphere was wonderful, subdued lighting and piano music made us feel relaxed and secluded, ideal for intimate conversation over a romantic meal.

The food was wonderful, when my Roasted Peppers and Salad starter was placed before me the smell of the fresh salad was mouthwatering and the dish lived up to the anticipation that this created. In fact it smelt so good that when Bill finished his Crab and Avocado Salad he decided to help me with mine, always a good testament to how much he is enjoying the food.

Our main courses of Rack of Lamb and Rib Eye Steak were equally well received, Bills empty plate a testament to his Steak. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb it was tender and even though cooked well done, at my request, it was still juicy and succulent and complemented extremely well by the jus and tender broccoli.

I suffer from food allergies which can make dining out a nightmare but the helpful staff and the excellent food at Browns enable me to go out to eat a fabulous meal without worrying about it making me ill. This is something that anyone with food allergies appreciates more than they can express.
