During our recent visit to Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia we were taken to Crocodylus Park to see the Crocodiles that NT is famous for, you remember Crocodile Dundee!

The park was by opened world-renowned crocodile biologist Professor Grahame Webb on 29 August 1994 and combines research into the species with tourism.

You can go around the park, see the breeding crocodiles being fed, see enclosures full of thousands of baby and juvenile crocs, plus other animals such as kangaroos, wallabies and sea turtles.

Feeding time is interesting to say the least as you look over the enclosures to see the crocs jumping for their food. In deed a few people though it was a clever idea to stick their hands out over the pens to film the crocs. However the crocs took a little to much interest and jump to high for my liking, but it is quite amusing to see a 5.5m croc eyeing up a Japanese tourist who hangs just a little to far over the pen.

Check out the video to see what I mean and if your visiting NT I would highly recommend a visit to Crocodylus Park fun for all ages.
