Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon - Gloucester Cathedral

The Museum of the Moon exhibit has been making it's way round the country and stopped on it's way at the beautiful Gloucester Cathedral.

The impressively large moon was hanging in the Nave at the cathedral and was getting lots of attention.  On the day we visited there was a queue across the forecourt of the cathedral.

It was free to view but you are encouraged to give a donation.

We went with my mother in law, her partner, my husband and daughter Libby.

There were the inevitable people taking photos pretending to hold up the moon with their hands.  Bit like being at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

It really is quite stunning and with the stained glass backdrop it's quite something to see.
